In the context of an Oil and gas Exploration drilling project on the Ampasindava Offshore Profond Block located along the Northwest coast of Madagascar, Sogreah Magelis is performing an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment on behalf of ExxonMobil in compliance with Malagasy legislation and international standards.
The Ningbo Water Supply Company (NWSC) and the Cixi Municipal Sewage Company (CMSC) have launched an ambitious project partly financed with a loan from the World Bank. The aim of this project is to improve the water supply system of Ningbo city and the treatment of wastewaters in Cixi region. Sogreah Magelis took part in the performance of the Environmental Impact Assessment, the Environmental Management Plan and the monitoring of the World Bank's approval.
In the context of a 1200 MW Thermal plant construction project on the site of Koudiet Eddraouch (Algerian East coast), Sogreah Magelis performed an Environmental Assessment for Iberdrola in compliance with Algerian legislation for the protection of the environment and in accordance with international standards.
The KCTS project (Kazakhstan Caspian Transport System) aims to export the oil from Kashagan oil field through a transportation system of crude oil from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan. Sogreah Magelis performed a Road Map for an Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessment and Audits of Waste treatment facilities for Total’s project.
In the context of seismic acquisition and pilot project for oil production in the Tsimiroro permit area located in Madagascar, Sogreah Magelis performed an Environmental Baseline Survey and an Environmental Impact Assessment on behalf of Madagasacar Oil and in compliance with Madagascan legislation for the protection of the environment and in accordance with international standards.
In the context of the Darnah blocks exploration in Libya, Sogreah Magelis performed an Environmental and Social study on behalf of Total E&P Libye. The study comprised an Environmental and Social Baseline Survey, and an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment. The studies were performed in compliance with the Libyan legislation and international standards of the IFC and the World Bank.
In the context of seismic acquisition in the Touat permit area located in the Sahara desert in Algeria, Sogreah Magelis performed an Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment on behalf of Gaz de France Algeria in order to characterise current conditions and situation, and to determine potential issues associated with seismic survey.
In the context of oil production in the Touat permit area located in the Sahara desert in Algeria, Sogreah Magelis performed an Environmental Impact Assessment on behalf of Sonatrach and China National Petroleum Company and in compliance with Algerian legislation for the protection of the environment and in accordance with international standards.
In the context of drilling exploration wells in the Rhourde Es Sid permit area located in the Sahara desert in Algeria, Sogreah Magelis performed an Environmental Impact Assessment on behalf of Total E&P Algeria and in compliance with Algerian legislation for the protection of the environment and in accordance with international standards.
