BACKGROUND 

Rhodia China develops two new chemical plants within a newly created Industrial Park located in Qingdao.
The Sodium Silicate plant is developed through a joint venture and the Silicate plant entirely owned by Rhodia China.

In line with Rhodia’s corporate standard practices, Sogreah was commissioned to conduct a full Environmental Site Assessment following the ASTM Due Diligence standards.

Methodology

The Phase I Audit consisted of site reconnaissance, interview of site and industrial park managers, and documents review.

The Phase II Investigations (soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells) confirmed the quality of the sub-soil.
