| HSE POLICY STATEMENT Commitment to Health Safety and Environmental Performance Our Goals are NO ACCIDENTS, NO HARM TO PEOPLE and NO DAMAGE TO THE ENVIRONMENT. • Article 1 : Safety and Accident Prevention The paramount priority of SOGREAH MAGELIS is safe operations with regard to human health and the environment. We will identify hazards and assess the risks associated with our activities and take appropriate action to manage risk. We assist our clients to meet their safety objectives and we require our contractors to meet our standards and the standards of our clients. • Article 2 : Pollution Prevention Through the performance of our services to industry SOGREAH MAGELIS strives to identify actual and potential pollution. Through design and project management we assist our clients in the prevention of pollution and where pollution exists, assist our clients in remediation. We will minimise, sort and recycle where possible the wastes generated by our activities. • Article 3 : Personal and occupational Health We will ensure that all our employees, contractors and partners are well informed, well trained engaged and committed to personal and occupation health. We recognise that safe operations depend not only on technically sound equipment and procedures and working practices but on competent people and an active HSE culture. • Article 4 : Emergency Management Through the performance of our services to industry, SOGREAH MAGELIS employees may be exposed to risk. We are committed to anticipating emergency situations and preparing emergency plans and training our personnel. Incidents will be reported and investigated to prevent recurrence and improve our performance. • Article 5 : Laws and Regulations SOGREAH MAGELIS will comply with the laws and regulations applicable in the areas of the world where we perform. We will also comply with our client’s HSE standards and guidelines. • Article 6 : HSE Performance Evaluation and Reporting We will periodically assess the implementation of and compliance with our HSE objectives. We strive to openly report our performance and continually improve. • Article 7 : Sustainable Development Through our services to industry SOGREAH MAGELIS is committed to assisting industry in sustainable development. Through our agencies and partners worldwide we will develop the training of local people, implement best practises for social, environmental and economic issues. |
